The Bar 3J is a small hay and cattle ranch located in the western part of the Cuyama Valley in California. Owned and operated by John and Suzette Caufield, the ranch produces high quality oat hay and maintains a herd of Hereford cattle (and old tractors).


Warm to Hot during the summer, we get an afternoon breeze off the mountains most of the time that makes the evenings comfortable.


Generally mild winters, we normally get 1 or 2 "snow days" each year.       

Peaceful with an awesome Sunrise!
